About Nimish Parekh Photography
I'm Nimish. I'm a future doctor/current photographer/sort of drummer/constant gardener/forever athlete/new small business owner/case study in distractibility. My name means "blink of an eye/moment", and oddly that explains so much. I picked up photography by a chance camera purchase in 2005 and have learned by doing. My main goals in life are to stay busy, be a good person, and own furniture on wheels (so I can rearrange my space as often as I like).
My photographic interests are broad, and I tend to document what comes along. I rarely use a tripod and I don't know how to describe my photography except that it is much like my personality: multifaceted, curious, and ever-changing. I am currently based in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, but have lived in Los Angeles and Mumbai, and more recently I have spent time in airports around the country. Next on the agenda: New York City.
Please visit my store for cards and prints of images in the posted galleries. Contact me personally for custom work, photo shoots, or if you are a store interested in selling my products. All sales go directly to repaying undergraduate and medical school student loans, so this is a non-profit of sorts...support independent art!
